In particular, these bars have incuse inscriptions. Incuse-struck details on a bar set the inscriptions beneath the surface of the bar, resulting in no 3D relief on the field of the bar.
Cast silver bars are common examples of classic production processes. Silver is first melted down and then poured into prefabricated shapes. These casts allow for particular forms and weights. The result is a product with a rustic appeal that is ideal for stacking and storage.
