Each 2.5 Gram Valcambi Gold Bar ships to you in a blister-proof package, along with an orange label within that includes the assay for the product. These cards feature the name of the refinery on the obverse side, as well as the serial number, assayers mark, and identifying marks on the reverse.

These same markings are around on both sides of the gold bar itself. On the obverse of each bar, you’ll find the Valcambi Suisse logo at the top, followed by the bars weight, metal content, purity, assayers mark, and individual serial number. Serial numbers on Valcambi bars feature two letters at the start followed by six numbers.

On the reverse of each is the Valcambi Suisse corporate name. This side of the bar is accompanied by the assay markings that feature the serial number, weight, purity, and metal content. Due to this packaging, you can see the important marks for your bar regardless of the face you are looking at.

Valcambi Suisse was founded in Balerna, Switzerland in 1961 as Valori & Cambi. Following its purchase by Credit Suisse, its name was combined to form the new Valcambi Suisse.
