The obverse side features an official effigy of the late Queen Elizabeth II that verifies it as legal tender. This is accompanied by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “NIUE,” “2022” and “TWO DOLLARS.”
The reverse side shows Darth Vader wielding his signature lightsaber. The inscription “VADER” appears at his left set against a background silhouette, accompanied by a smaller inscription at the rim that confirms the coin’s weight and Silver content and shows the copyright and trademark of Lucasfilm.
