These 1 Kilo RCM Silver Bars are available as a brand-new product debuting from the Royal Canadian Mint in 2020. The bars present an extremely cost-effective means of investing in silver that is secure and struck to the highest possible standards in quality.

The Royal Canadian Mint has included a variety of different security features and enhanced design strikes on this bar. The Royal Canadian Mint logo is featured at the top of the bar with a detailed visual that makes the details of the logo. On either side of the inscriptions of the weight and purity, you will find the RCM’s maple leaf privy marks. At the bottom, the individual serial number is backed by vertically-engraved radial lines.

Obverse design elements of the beautiful 1 Kilo Royal Canadian Mint Silver Bar include the mint logo at the very top of the design field. The mint logo includes the name of the mint in both English and French, a nod to the Anglo-French history of Canada. The weight and purity are struck below this, flanked on either side by the aforementioned maple leaf privy marks. Below this, you will find the metal content in both English and French as well, with the unique serial number inscribed below.

The serial numbers on these bars are inscribed inside of a rectangle at the bottom of the bar using a one-letter, six-number coding system. The serial number is backed by radial lines. The edges of the bar are smooth and the reverse face is left blank on purpose.

The Royal Canadian Mint was founded in 1908 to serve as a site for independent coinage and refining in Canada. It originally refined gold bullion bars for Great Britain, but now handles coining for Canadian currency and bullion.
